Welcome to the Celebrity Wall of Death -- Blog Style
2007 is off to a fairly strong start with celebrity deaths, and I feel like this has to be acknowledged. Hence, the creation of a Celebrity Wall of Death Blog. Maybe not as exciting as the old site, but Jeremy clearly sucks and there is a need to come together and discuss the passing of Hollywood's finest. This is the first post and perhaps the blog will evolve, but for now we start with three recent subjects which I feel deserve some consideration.
First up is a death from over this past weekend. Being in the Barney Miller cast is almost a sure thing. Abe Vigoda is would be like the Holy Grail for the Wall, but some say he's actually immortal, and I think they might be right. This guy is (or was) Ron Carey, and here's his deal. This whole row pictured is pretty sweet I think (notice how Abe is missing from this group shot? Hmmm? No coincidence, he simply can't be killed.)
Next up is another of the Jeffersons cast to join us (after Weezie and the white guy). It's a proud tradition. His real name was Mike Evans and his last TV appearance was on Walker, Texas Ranger, which some may think makes this extra sad, but some may think that's really the only way to go out.
Lastly (continuing the sitcom hit list) is another member of the Munsters, Yvonne De Carlo. She joins Grampa Munster on the Wall (one of the most perfect additions ever IMO).
So that catches us up a bit. Don't really know how this will work at all but maybe post your yea or nay, and a separate post will show who gets immortalized as a winner and who is not even third rate enough to get the nod.
